Our commitment
We aim to make the ToqXcel website understandable, operable and robust for people using a wide range of browsers, devices, keyboards, screen readers, magnification tools, voice input and other assistive technologies.
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We consider it when designing pages, writing content, building forms and introducing new services, and we will address confirmed barriers according to their impact and the work required.
Our accessibility target
Our working target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These internationally recognised guidelines describe ways to make digital content more perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
Accessibility features on the website
The website is designed to support:
- semantic headings, landmarks and meaningful content order;
- a skip link for moving directly to the main content;
- keyboard access to navigation and interactive controls;
- visible focus indicators for links, buttons and form controls;
- text alternatives for informative images and decorative-image handling;
- responsive layouts that reflow across desktop, tablet and mobile screens;
- readable colour contrast, spacing and typography; and
- links and controls whose purpose is understandable from their context.
You can usually enlarge text using your browser’s zoom controls without losing access to the main content. Browser and operating-system settings may also support preferred text size, contrast, motion and input methods.
Forms, instructions and validation
Our enquiry, consultation, partnership, careers and support forms are intended to use visible labels, clear instructions, logical keyboard order and understandable validation. Required information should be identified without relying only on colour.
If a form cannot be completed with your assistive technology, or an error message is unclear, contact us using the route below. We can provide a reasonable alternative way to share the information. Please do not email passwords, security secrets, payment details or unnecessary sensitive records.
Documents, images and media
We aim to publish new documents with logical structure, meaningful titles and accessible reading order. Images that communicate information should have suitable alternatives, while decorative images should not create unnecessary screen-reader output.
Some future case-study files, presentations, archived documents, videos or material supplied by third parties may not be fully accessible. Where practical, we will offer the same essential information in HTML, an accessible document, captions, a transcript or another suitable format on request.
Known and potential limitations
Because the website is continuing to develop, barriers may remain in older downloadable documents, complex diagrams, third-party embeds, browser-specific behaviour or services outside ToqXcel’s direct control. Some visual diagrams may require an accompanying text explanation to convey the same relationships.
We do not list an issue as resolved until it has been checked. Confirmed barriers will be assessed according to user impact, frequency and technical complexity, and improvements will be incorporated into planned website updates where possible.
Request assistance or an alternative format
If you need website information in a different format, tell us what content you need and the format or adjustment that would help. Examples may include a structured document, plain-text version, larger text, a transcript or assistance completing a form.
We will review the request and explain what we can provide. Timing may depend on the format, complexity, third-party ownership and whether specialist conversion is required.
Report an accessibility barrier
Accessibility feedback helps us find issues that automated checks may miss. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, the problem encountered, and—if you are comfortable sharing it—the browser, device or assistive technology used.
Do not include medical details or other sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for us to understand the adjustment requested.
